The Ottawa REDBLACKS reached out yesterday afternoon to line-up volunteers to help at today’s 105th Grey Cup to manage snow and ice. No pay. No glory. Definitely some inconvenience and a 10 hour shift outside where they would more than likely be half frozen when they are done.
We reached out to our Warriors alumni for 16-21 year old volunteers and we just want to say how proud we are (but not surprised) of the boys who stepped up to volunteer to help work at today’s Grey Cup. These young men led by example on the field when they were with us and continue to now in their community as Warriors alumni. THANK YOU to Ryan Pacholik, Nick Simms, Demian Gonzalez, Shayne Forsyth, and Kyle Waucaush.
Football is all about community; being selfless; acting on a need; pitching in; and resolve to lead by example. These 5 Warriors Alumni clearly get that. THANKS LADS!!! #Warriors4Life

The Jude family of Ashton are the winners of the Warriors Draw for 2 TICKETS TO THE SOLD OUT 105th GREY CUP!
THANKS to everyone who donated to buy a ticket for our fundraiser draw. It was fun and a huge CONGRATULATIONS to THE JUDES! Cheer LOUD & PROUD at this year’s Grey Cup!
Dev is a tireless manager for our Tyke tackle team and her husband Steve covers basically all the other bases for the family while she does. You couldn’t ask for a nicer more giving couple so it is immensely just that they are our lucky winners!!

This just happened! Thanks to the initiative of our Warriors Registrar Barb Dodge and a graduating Bantam player, Jacob Smith, the Warriors entered CTV News Ottawa’s Team of the Week competition sponsored by Myers Kanata Hyundai….and the winner was THE BELL WARRIORS!
The presentation of $1,000 to the Bell Warriors Football Club was made live last night on the CTV News Ottawa dinner-time edition.
HUGE THANK YOU to Myers Kanata Hyundai, Terry Marcotte and Patricia Boal (both of CTV News Ottawa), Barb Dodge, Jacob Smith (who put the video together that won us the contest) and all of our Warriors who went down to the studio for the presentation. How awesome is this!!!
