Girl’s Touch Football & Co-Ed Flag Football

The Bell Warriors have been providing football programs for over 60 years but most people do not know that we offer non-contact football programs for boys & girls.

Our non-contact CO-ED FLAG FOOTBALL program has been continuing to grow since its reintroduction a few years back and we are excited to be part of the inaugural season for Co-Ed Flag Football this year at our league level at NCAFA.  The Bell Warriors will be one of three NCAFA clubs that will be hosting the program.   These are all open boundary programs that players across the region can participate in.  All will offer skill development and game play for players 8 years and older. U8 participants, Mite or ages 5-7, will complete the Football Canada First Down Program. The sessions of the First Down Program develop fundamental movement skills like running, throwing, catching and kicking. The program incorporates football related movements, activities, and skills to help build physical literacy.

The Spring Flag Football program will be run Saturdays, May 11 – June 22, 9 am – 1 pm. at St Joe’s High School in Barrhaven in cooperation with our neighbour club the Nepean Eagles.  This year there were also  FREE introductory sessions April 27  and May 4 that were coordinated by the league to expose youth to our great sport.  For more details, please email

The Bell Warriors GIRL’S TOUCH FOOTBALL program offers girl’s the ultimate opportunity to compete and  have fun.  Arguably, there is no other sport that combines hand-eye coordination, throwing, catching, running and conditioning like Touch Football.   Practices start in early April and the season runs from May through the end of June which means players and coaches alike get to enjoy their summers.  For more details, please email
