#Warriors4Life
The Bell Warriors have been providing football programs for over 60 years and one of our key mandates is to ensure our greatsport is financially AFFORDABLE FOR ALL! Parents are given options to pay cash, by credit card, by e-transfer and debit cards for convenience. We also permit families that are financially challenged to pay in installments because we know how difficult it can be to make ends meet. Parents can arrange to procure sponsors for the Club. 100% of any acquired sponsorship by the family will be used to offset the fee shortfall of that family. Above and beyond our Warriors efforts, there are two programs for those that qualify that provide tremendous opportunities to partially offset a player’s fee shortfall. They are:
KIDSPORT OTTAWA:
KidSport™ is a grass roots Canadian non-profit organization that provides support to under-resourced children and youth 18 years of age and under across the country by removing financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport.
Canadian Tire JUMPSTART:
Raising funds. Lifting spirits. Supporting dreams. Jumpstart is more than just about getting kids active. It’s about giving kids from families in financial need the same chance to participate as their neighbours, their classmates and their friends. Whether it’s the chance to try a new sport or to continue with a favourite one, no kid should be left out. Organized sports connect kids to their communities. Canadian Tire Corporation is Jumpstart’s biggest supporter as it funds all the general administrative expenses of Jumpstart, which means 100% of customer donations go directly to help kids in need.
NCAFA’S HUDDLE INCLUDES EVERYONE :
NCAFA, OSEG Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa are very pleased to announce the start of a new program in 2019 designed to help local youth whose families currently face food security issues at home.
This new program has one aim, to get kids playing a team sport, kids whose families simply don’t have the resources to pay the registration fees or buy equipment. Something that so many of us take for granted – is simply out reach for them. NCAFA, the OSEG Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters want that to change.
Every kid should experience what it is like being part of a sports team, to make new friends, to be acknowledged for their hard work by coaches and teammates. Simply being accepted for who they are.
