Local Community Youth Football Legend Passes Away
It is with profound sadness that we pass on news of Sandy Ruckstuhl’s passing last night. Sandy has been a fixture in the Ottawa football community, serving nearly 37 years as President of the Myers Riders Football Club. To say that he will be missed is an understatement. Condolences to Linda and the entire Ruckstuhl and Myers Riders families.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 12 at the Kelly Funeral Home, 3000 Woodroffe Avenue (2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.). Location of the funeral Friday (January 13) is still to be determined.
