The Bell Warriors Football Club have had some really tremendous young men represent our club long after their playing days with us are done. The Warriors value community, education and empowering our youth to make a positive impact with their lives. The COVID-19 pandemic doesn’t change that commitment! On behalf of the Bell Warriors and our entire Executive, we are proud to offer our two Bell Warriors Jim Wagdin Post-Secondary Scholarships again this year for the 22nd straight year. To date, our non-profit youth sports club has given $40,000 in scholarships to worthy Warriors alumni to support their pursuit of post-secondary education.
“Football is the ultimate sport to instill and reinforce values in our youth and what better way to reflect that than by continuing our scholarship program despite the fiscal challenges our club is facing. We are in our 65th season of providing our football program and we believe strongly that actions have to speak louder than words at this difficult time that we are all trying to face. So many of our alumni will have a tough time finding jobs to support their education. If this isn’t the right time to show our support of our youth, then I don’t know what is.
