LIQUIDGYM BECOMES WARRIORS NEWEST GOLD SPONSOR
The Bell Warriors Football Club and LiquidGym Rehab and Training Centre of Bells Corners, Ottawa are pleased to announce a partnership for the 2017 football season. The Warriors are a non-profit football club based in the communities of Crystal Beach, Bayshore, Bells Corners, Richmond, Stittsville and Munster. For 62 years, the Warriors have been offering assorted football programs for boys and girls ages 7-23.
“The Warriors are excited to announce our new partnership with LiquidGym. We supply all of our players’ equipment and dedicate a ton of time to ensure we offer youth programs that are rewarding and fun. This takes energy, time and commitment. It also takes willing partners in our community to help us meet our key mandate which is to keep our great sport affordable and accessible to all. LiquidGym is stepping up to become our newest Gold Sponsor and we are glad to expose our active Warriors families to LiquidGym’s expansive facility and array of extensive services.” – Paul Stewart, Bell Warriors Football President
“LiquidGym is thrilled to partner with the Warriors for the up-coming season. We like to be involved with the community and share the same values as the Warriors. The Warriors have a committed team of leaders to assist the area youth in developing skills that will be useful on and off the field and we are happy to support their work. LiquidGym welcomes players and their families to explore our facility and our services as we work to improve your health and performance. We wish the Warriors best of luck for the up-coming season and look forward to a long and committed partnership with the club.” – Karen Snyder, CEO, LiquidGym
In addition to financial support for the Warriors youth football program, LiquidGym will be hosting a Warriors Day Open House early this spring. Warriors’ families and supporters will be welcomed to an on-site BBQ and the opportunity to tour and try out some of their very specialized services which includes LiquidGym’s unique dryland training and hydro-training on underwater treadmills, underwater bikes and the endless pool swim current.
“The Warriors share a similar outlook with LiquidGym. We both believe strongly in the importance of healthy lifestyles and the value sports teams can play in the development of our youth. Football is the ultimate team sport. It is affordable and encourages hard work, commitment, responsibility, dedication but most importantly, it is fun. The Warriors couldn’t do what we do without the generous support of companies like LiquidGym.” – Paul Stewart, Bell Warriors Football President

“In caring memory of a dear man, Dion Broad November 29, 1971-October 12, 2011. A loving father, husband, brother, son and friend. Dedicated civilian member of the RCMP, Scouts leader, soccer convenor and football fan. He did not get to see his son on the Warriors field, but his spirit is with him. The opportunity to find our hearts after losing Dion, will always be appreciated. We cannot repay all the coaches and other volunteers for all they have done, and in ways they will never know. On behalf of his family, who are too many to name, Thank you.”
Kind regards, Kelly, Keenan and Devon Broad
To remember and recognize the 5th anniversary of the Broad family’s loss of their loved-one Dion Broad, Kelly Broad and her two sons Devon and Keenan, have made an immensely thoughtful contribution to the Bell Warriors Football Club. The monies are to be used to help ensure that players in need of financial support enjoy the opportunity to be part of the Warriors family. “Kelly, Devon and Keenan (who plays for our Bantams) are truly kind and caring souls. I know the Warriors family have all been moved by this gesture of generousity in loving memory of their lost husband and father. Football can be a vehicle to reinforce the ideals of selflessness and compassion to your new friends, family and volunteers and it is hard to imagine any more fitting way to exemplify these heart-felt values than by this sacrifice by the Broad’s to support our young players in need. “ ~ Paul Stewart, Bell Warriors President.
The Warriors would like to add that more can always be done to help our players in financial need. If you are moved by the Broad’s honourable show of generousity, please reach out to join the cause. Simply email info@bellwarriors.ca to make an offer to help support our players in the memory of Dion Broad. The Broad family and the Bell Warriors Thank You.
Paul Stewart President of The Bell Warriors Football Club and Michael Polito of Mortgage Brokers Ottawa are pleased to announce an innovative new partnership agreement that will go above and beyond the usual one time donation scenario. Michael Polito’s ‘Lend a Hand Program’ will make a cash donation back to The Bell Warriors Football Club every time a new potential mortgage client identifies themselves as a member of the Bell Warriors Family.
“It has been my privilege to be a volunteer for the Bell Warriors for many years and this new sponsorship partnership is the right thing to do. I’m coming on board as a Gold Sponsor immediately but the sky is the limit in terms of donating above and beyond. It’s the right thing to do. For more information you can contact me at www.mikepolito.ca.”
Paul Stewart, President of the Bell Warriors Football Club, states “The Bell Warriors Football Club is enjoying our 60th anniversary this year of providing youth football programs for boys and girls. Player fees cover less than 40% of our overall budget so we rely heavily on community partners to step up. Mike Polito’s innovative approach to give back to our football program is based on a model that many other service providers could consider adopting. It’s sustainable, generous, thoughtful and the Warriors want to thank our newest Gold Sponsor Michael Polito for stepping up by giving back to the Warriors.”
