Another year of our popular Winter Workouts is in the books. Close to 150 youth joined our Warriors volunteer coaches at the Ben Franklin Dome for four straight Sundays in April to learn more about football and our Warriors. Warrior VP Tim Sheahan said, “this annual event serves a couple important purposes for our sport and club. Firstly, it gives youth some appreciation about what football is all about. Ultimately it’s about having fun and making friends. Secondly, it allows our volunteers an opportunity to get to know the young players better while introducing them to the fundamental skills required in our sport. To be a football player, you need to learn the value of teamwork and that takes familiarity and trust which all begins with these affordable Spring sessions.”

Finally, Avery Stuart-Lafleur is old enough to play football. We think he is happy about it!
